Legacy of Bermuda: Our Visit to South Korea

With a commitment to expanding our connections and knowledge, one of our team members embarked on a journey to South Korea. This trip was not just about exploring new destinations but also about building meaningful relationships and finding ways to integrate our Web3 technologies into new cultures.

Seoul – Gyeongbok Palace

The adventure in South Korea began with a visit to the magnificent Gyeongbok Palace, the main royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty. The intricate architecture and expansive courtyards immediately captivated our team member allowed her to marvel at the finest examples of traditional Korean architecture while deepening their understanding of the countryā€™s rich history.

Seoul N Tower (Namsan Tower)

After Gyeongbok Palace, the next stop was the iconic Seoul N Tower. The panoramic view of the city was stunning, especially as the evening lights illuminated the skyline.The base of the tower was adorned with countless love locks, a symbol of enduring love and commitment, which resonated deeply with the sense of community we cherish.

Seoul – Beopjusa Temple

The journey continued to Beopjusa Temple, nestled in Songnisan National Park. The tranquility of the temple, combined with the surrounding mountains, offered the perfect environment for mental relaxation. The templeā€™s 33-meter-tall gilded Buddha statue and Korea’s only remaining wooden pagoda, the Palsangjeon, were truly awe-inspiring.

Busan – Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

In Busan, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple became a focal point of the visit. Built in the 14th century, its seaside location added to its charm.

Busan – Gamcheon

The vibrant Gamcheon Cultural Village, once a refuge during the Korean War, was another highlight. Today, it’s an artistic hub filled with brightly colored houses and streets adorned with local artwork.

Jeju – Sunrise Peak

Jeju Islandā€™s Sunrise Peak offered one of the most memorable experiences. The steep hike to the volcanic cone was well worth it for the 360Ā° panoramic view at the top.

Jeju – Jeongbang Waterfall

Jeongbang Waterfall, cascading directly into the ocean, was another of Jejuā€™s iconic natural wonders that captured the imagination. The sight of the water thundering down the cliffs was mesmerizing.

Jeju – Yakcheonsa Temple

Yakcheonsa Temple, with its massive structure and peaceful surroundings, provided another unforgettable experience. Inside, the richly decorated interiors showcased the finest examples of Buddhist art.

Jeju – Hallim Park

Hallim Park, a vast botanical garden, offered a unique opportunity to explore Jejuā€™s diverse flora and fauna.

Jeju – Hyeopjae Beach

Hyeopjae Beach, with its white sand and crystal-clear waters, was the perfect spot for relaxation.

Seoul – Gangnam District

Returning to Seoul, the modern Gangnam District presented a different side of South Korea. The trendy shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues gave our team member a taste of contemporary Korean pop culture.

Suwon – Hwaseong Haenggung Palace

In Suwon, Hwaseong Haenggung Palace provided a unique insight into Koreaā€™s historical architecture and culture.

Seoul – National Museum of Korea

The final stop was the National Museum of Korea, where our team member delved into the countryā€™s artistic and historical legacy.

Throughout the journey, the delicious Korean food left a lasting impression. The thoughtful presentation and health-conscious ingredients inspired us to consider how we might incorporate similar practices into our community’s lifestyle.

Every moment of this visit to South Korea was mesmerizing and unforgettable.
