The Bat-Signal sits atop the GCPD headquarters as a blazing symbol that strikes fear into the heart of Gotham City’s criminal underbelly. Used by Commissioner Jim Gordon as a summoning call to The Batman, criminals would look up and think twice about their nefarious dealings and Gotham City’s residents would look up and feel a sense of safety, support and pride. The Bat-Signal represents justice as much as the Dark Knight himself.
